Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park
The Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park at Wandoor, 30 km from Port Blair is yet another colorful experience. It comprises a group of islands, among which Jolly Buoy Island and the Red Skin Island are the ones open for tourists. And, only either of these islands is usually accessible at a time – jolly buoy from December to May and red skin during the rest of the year.
North Bay
Boat rides in these islands, and in the North Bay, with see-thru glasses at the boat bottoms make it possible to glimpse into a colorful world of marine creatures, that unfolds before us, rather, under us! For the nature-lovers, the uprooted trees on the Wandoor beach give a déjà-vu of their dream destinations.
