Baratang

Baratang is an unique attraction near Port Blair. Thickly vegetated, Baratang ‘s attractions are the Mud Volcano (where “mudma”, not magma keeps pouring out of the volcano!) , Lime Stone Caves , the naturally formed myriad sizes and shapes of the stalactites and stalagmites! and the Parrot Island, a fascinating experience to watch thousands & thousands of parrots reurning at the same time to their nests! You can choose to visit them & bounce back on the same day or stay overnight.

Chidiya Tapu.!

A tiny fishing village at the southernmost tip of the South Andaman Islands, is for nature lovers. “Chidiya” a hindi word for “bird”, is an apt name for this island that serves a nest for a range of endemic and seasonal birds. The island is also known for its colorful sea shells strewn around.

Ross Island

Ross Island, the seat of the British secretariat till 1942, is a perfect a live-musuem of the past. Colonial buildings, perfectly angled roads, pavements tell us how it would have been bustling with activity, housing 500 British officers and their families.

The Japanese bunker here (made during the 2nd World War), made to camouflage the fighting forces from the enemies is, indeed ironically, now a must-see tourist spot!
