Havelock Island

The island is named after Henry Havelock, a British general active in India. The island's current population consists of Bengali settlers.It is the Island with beautiful sandy beaches fringed with green canopy of the rain forest beckons every one to enjoy the fun at the azure sea. Vijayanagar beach, 5kms away from the jetty on the eastern side and Elephant beach, 10kms away from the jetty on the north western part of the Island are other breathtaking beaches.
